A fundraising trip by President Obama to the Atlanta, Georgia area on March 16 includes an upscale "Gala Celebration" host by movie mogul Tyler Perry and the African American Leadership Council

2012 Gala bash for President Obama planned in Atlanta March 16th by movie mogul Tyler Perry and the African America Leadership Council as part of numerous campaigns in Georgia to re-elect Obama

(Atlanta, Georgia) - President Barack Obama's Georgia fundraising trip includes a party hosted by well-known Hollywood actor and movie mogul Tyler Perry.

An upscale "Gala Celebration will be hosted for President Obama at the studios of Tyler Perry.

The African American Leadership Council is also listed as a host in an invitation to the event.

The President will visit the Atlanta area on March 16, 2012.

We must re-elect Pres.Obama.

Republicans have done enough damage to the lives of Georgians and the lives of low to moderate income people across America.

Tyler Perry was born Emmitt Perry, Jr.

Perry is a famous American actor, director, playwright, entrepreneur, screenwriter, producer, author, and songwriter.

Perry wrote and produced many stage plays during the 1990s and early 2000s, according to his Wikipedia page.

Forbes named him the highest paid man in entertainment, earning $130 million between May 2010 and 2011, Wikipedia states

The campaign advertised the March 16 Georgia visit in an email to supporters on Friday, Feb. 24.

Obama lost Georgia in the 2008 general election by five percent and is hoping for Georgia victory this fall that contributes to his re-election.
