The House Financial Services Committee has jurisdiction over the banking system, stock exchanges, and the housing and insurance industries.
The Committee also handles policy matters including monetary policy, international finance, and combating terrorist financing.
Congressman Keith Ellison will share his perspectives on U.S. foreign policy towards Middle East and Pakistan and challenges that impact the nation’s ability to combat security threats within our borders and abroad.
This luncheon will also include a question-and-answer (Q&A) session on the challenging policy agenda facing the Foreign Affairs Committee and United States Congress.
